The Disco at Guantanamo Bay

IDEA: Music as torture; step into the shoes of a Guantanamo Bay military prisoner.

WHAT: Theater installation ‘The Disco’ explores the use of popular music in enhanced interrogation techniques, offering the audience an experience of being questioned by a former and current Israeli Mossad and Shin Bet officers to take part as collaborators and performers.

NB. Strict security measures apply to this performance. You are obliged to leave your coat and bag – including your mobile telephone, laptop and other recording equipment – in the manned cloakroom. All audience-members will be frisked ahead of the event.
